Facebook is an excellent social networking site that I am a major fan of. It has been more effective in keeping up with friends than how Myspace is. Maybe it is because of the more streamline minimalist layout of Facebook, compared to the more colorful but not as efficiently layout of Myspace. To us college students, Facebook is a helpful way of keeping up with friends, events like birthdays or parties, or campus organizations. Facebook can also benefit students in asking other students for clarification on assignment instructions and ways to contact peer tutors.
